Mucho más que una película sobre el mundo del grafitti, aborda una interesante reflexión sobre el mercantilismo del arte en nuestros días. Banksy se autodefine como un “vándalo profesional”. Hace arte para los pobres poniéndolo al alcance de todos en las calles a lo largo y ancho del mundo (Disneylandia, Nueva Orleans, muro de Cisjordania…). Desde que salió a la luz que famosos como Brad Pitt o Angelina Jolie habían comprado algunas de sus obras, su obra se ha revalorizado mucho, y ahora se vende por decenas de miles de euros en galerías y casas de subastas.

La obsesión de Banksy por ocultar su identidad real hace que aquí le veamos entre sombras, con capucha y con la voz distorsionada.

Película imprescindible para conocer un poco más la obra de este genio del grafitti y del stencil con plantilla que ha conseguido que algunas de sus obras hayan sido expuestas en lugares como el MOMA o la Tate Modern Gallery colgándolas él mismo de forma clandestina.
